Never any shopping carts. Always missing items on shelves. Watched someone walk out with about $50 in candy as there was no security. They jack their prices up beyond those fresh and organic stores. Pretty sure they don't want people shopping there.

I am COMPLETELY DONE with this horrible store! I've put up with it for years and I've finally decided NOT WORTH IT! I'll start with how after all these (20+) years, they can't make the parking spaces appropriate! I have always had to park on the street as the parking spaces are a unacceptable (unless you have a tiny car or motorcycle)! Most people just go ahead & take up two spots because who wants their auto dented because you have to park so close that your doors cannot even be opened most of the way! But hey, they could add a new pick up parking spot! And because they apparently can't get it together & learn from the past...All the shopping carts were stolen AGAIN! Why management can't require all the carts be inside the store at closing when this keeps occuring? And have not been replaced in weeks! So, not much shopping can be done with a basket...SO, WHY BOTHER! Not done with how horrible this store is but I can't write a book! Lastly, I just want to comment on how they spent $ making the store 'upper-middle classed' approved but for what? It's still a horribly over priced joke of a Safeway with parking spots (which they should have used that $ for) that no one in the 'upper class' that they are trying to target, is going to want to risk their nice cars to shop at! DONE DONE DONE DONE

Super sketch part of town. While the workers are great and their support is helpful, it wasn't a really awesome experience. I saw a shoplifter get nicked while ordering a coffee. The Starbucks in this location is great though! Really liked the chai tea latte. Edit: Let me be clear; this Safeway is nicely stocked and everything about the business seems well taken care of. I added a star on my review to reflect the prompt response from the Safeway rep. Safeway has no control over the locale. I was satisfied with my visit here, regarding the groceries, staff and security.

Anywhere I stop for shopping I try to find things I never seen before. I found shampoo in Safeway. I like healthy staff and always check ingredients on the label. This time I found seems good shampoo. I didn't try yet but ingredients tell me it is healthy. Only $7-8. It is real price for herbal shampoo.
