I paid for a item with a debit card and the money was withdraw from my account at the speed of light. I returned the item two days later with my receipt and was told it could take up to three weeks for my account to be credited. Guess the speed of light is only for their benefit.*** I wonder if Safeway would agree to me paying my groceries in up to three weeks??

Well when I go to Safeway it been a experience visiting the store there and they are very helpful little on the expensive side but good quality of food and good customer service oriented and the experience and environment is the most important experience of a life time and I think they as Safeway is always a great experience and full of energy and I usually go to the Alameda and South Broadway and the experience phenomenal there crew knows how to do their work and job and I want to say thank you for having me as a customer. I use the Safeway on 6th and Corona. I have found it to be a great place to shop, clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. I use the app to add coupons (it's easy to use) and the savings and reward points for free items are great too.

Don't shop here. Terrible selection, across the board. Lots of empty shelves, meanwhile Kroger who just had a workers strike manages to stock their shelves. All their steaks are less than 1/4 inch thick. They had a 8" NY strip in the display case, I asked if they could cut a 1.5" slice since they don't have thick steaks, and the guy said he couldn't do that. OK, well, never shopping here again, thanks for the customer service.
