I love Papa John's, but man was this some gross pizza. I've had Pappa John's all over the country this one by far had some terrible pie.

Finding Forever

I spent $40 on pizza today. The primary reason I went to Papa John's is that I wanted to try their New York style pizza. It literally was their regular pizza with the same sized crust. I could have spent $8.99 on the pizza they gave me versus the $14.99 I spent on the NY style. I also went to pick it up. The other pizza was alright, I expected to pay the price I did for the second one. This is the second time that this location has just given me what they felt like and not what I ordered. I will not be back.

Tried a 3rd time with a free pizza offer. App said pizza was delivered but nothing at door. After 3 attempts calling the store & disconnected, drove to store now 30 minutes after app said pizza arrived. Store staff on 10/27 at 6:00pm did t address me for 15 minutes and then shift leader did with her back turned to me. Driver called on my way out to say he finally arrived 60 minutes after app said so. Papa Johns app lacks everything . Go across the street to Black Jack - better pizza and service, always.

I hardly ever order carry out pizza but was in this area and hungry. When I walked in the music was so loud and obnoxious. The guy attempting to take my order couldn't hear what I was saying. He didn't offer to turn it down. I went outside to open the app to find and show him I wanted to order a large pizza with everything on it. I then went nearby to run a quick errand. I was disappointed that the toppings on a $20 pizza didn't extend closer to the edge of the pie. I ate it because I was starving. I called and talked to the store manager Marianne to tell her about the loud music and how hard it was to place my order. She said the music wasn't that loud. She also said that they purposely leave 2 inches bare around the edge of the pie so you can hold it. I've never seen that done before but I haven't ordered one in a long time. She told me to look on the website instead of the app for better deals. I didn't find that to be the case at all. I know restaurants are trying to recover from the pandemic but I think this Papa John's is the pit's and will go to another location next time. I have a feeling that they're all just as bad though.
