This lake is extremely beautiful in its own little way. There’s more than one shore where you can have a little picnic and fish with family and friends along with many other activities. I called yesterday to ask some questions to prepare for my visit and I was helped by David. He was very informative and thorough. Today I was at the lake and I couldn’t quite find an access way to a part of the lake and once again David was very helpful and informative. I got here without a problem and I can’t even explain how beautiful it is here. He definitely deserves a raise! Clean bathrooms and many hiking trails here. Not to mention I’m an animal person and this cute little duck came and greeted me and will not leave my side 💕10/10!

If you live in the surrounding area, I definitely recommend this park. They have friendly staff. Nice and Cool for all three seasons. 12 dollars for an entrance and if a senior is sitting inside your car is $5 for only one car.

Boats are very fun and it's nice to just take some lunch and eat there with the view of the lake. The trails here are nice I liked talking a walk in this park.

The is overnight tent camping overlooking the lake. It is located near the F Lot.
The park is open regular hours. However, there are no fireworks allowed and no fireworks show.
The fishing has been improving. Bass and bluegill have been biting from shore and from boats. Catfish are always biting with the right bait. They seem to like carne asada.
Parking off of Via Verdes for free at either the ride and share parking lot or at the business
Yes they do, but it gets pretty full so watch your little ones
Negative
Dogs are allowed in the park. They must be kept on a leash. They are not allowed in the water.
Yes free after 6:00pm .7/D_
After 7:00 pm is free. Best time to go feed ducks and run around.
Yes, you can bring it, about the fee i'm not sure
Dogs are allowed in the park. But not in the water.
There's also free parking on the the east side of the park at Brackett Airport.
Yes it's pet friendly. Just need to be on a leash
Yes, there are restrooms. We park towards the end of the park and the restrooms are away from the lake
I really don't know. But many people go fishing there
During summer months, they do. I would suggest calling them.
Parking is 10 dollars. If you enter the park after 6 pm from the east fork parking is free. You can also park at Bracket Airfield but then would have to walk about a mile to enter the park via the RV camping park.
Dusk. Keep in mind boats are allowed on even days only unless you are fishing.
Yes dogs allowed on leash many ppl walking, running and biking...
I'm not sure me personally have had many bday parties at parks and I have asked other parks if I can rent a jumper and they all have told me No. Maybe for safety reasons. Also at Bonelli Park I never seen a jumper there. They have a play area for the kids and the kids all had a blast there that park is big.
The Park opens @ 7am every morning and closes @ 7pm every night. The majority of visitors do not stay till closing, they usually leave around dusk.
Not for small family picnics. You just pick a spot and go for it. Probably, more so, for large picnics since I have seen certain areas within the Park taped off with yellow ribbon in the past.
Everything is open Free of charge right now
I believe so. I accidentally pulled into the boat launch parking lot one day. The yoing lady at the booth asked if I had an inflatable since there was no boat in tow. When I told her no, she told me I cannot park there. That would suggest to me that inflatables are allowed. Hope that anecdotal evidence helps. Lol.
Definitely. Not sure if they're allowed in the water though. Hope that helps.
Car and Trailer is $21 just the car $10

They do not sell tents but you can rent a camp space. You will have to bring your own tents.
They do have overnight camping. Bonelli Bluffs RV Resort & Campground, formerly East Shore RV Park 1440 Camper View Rd, San Dimas, CA 91773 (909) 599-8355 https://g.co/kgs/nAqDCZ
There is no fee for entering the park on foot.
I have been frequently coming here longer than anyone that works there or any of the guides that are trying to answer your questions since 1963 so listen up boating or jet skiing no rentals for them you must bring your own biking or hiking a path around the entire lake you can BBQ there and reserve certain areas for you and your guess they have horse shoe pits available for the children play areas for them special equipment to play on a very well kept area with a entrance fee of ten dollars oh yes and very clean bathrooms throughout the whole park a great place to visit and also RV parking and camping
You can reserve a spot, but don't think jumpers are allowed. I could be wrong though.
If you can swim the beach is always open and fish if all the time and now there is a lot 🐟 🐟
they are charging everyday in the summer.
It has been quite some time since the CDFW has planted any trout here. I do not know the date of the last stock. Here is an article from 2015. https://www.vvdailypress.com/article/20150208/Sports/150209813
Yes you do. I got caught fishing there without a licence and got a ticket. Not sure if you're aware of the signs they posted around the lake saying DO NOT EAT FISH CAUGHT HERE!!! Makes me wonder what's in the water lol
You sure can & they have Barbeque Grills thru out the park
No
Yes you can I've ran my boats there. Sailboat cove is a great spot to run them
Yes they have bbq's there depending on where you go I would recommend the south side of the lake because that's where the kids play toys are.
