Nice trail with some breathtaking views. If there is still snow on the mountains expect small creek crossings. Nice overlook about a mile in that allows you to see a unique perspective of Wellington lake. Be sure to keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after them. Like anywhere in the woods leave no trace.

Gorgeous views and big bedrock formations to climb upon. Cute little creeks too. Not crowded at all. No motor vehicles or mountain bikes on the trail either.

Great trial. It was a nice slow incline. The path was clear of debris. There were quite a few trail runners and fellow backpackers. Near mile 4 was a large stream to refill bottles. There were plenty of campsites near the stream. We were able to see quite a few wildflowers and multiple Aspen groves. There was not too many views of the mountains on the section we hiked.

Wonderful place to hike. Great views along the way. Easy hiking. Winds through the forest of Aspens and pines. We only hike in 3 miles before it starts getting steep and challenging. Would recommend this hike for anyone looking for an easy hike with great views, hardly any elevation gain or loss.

No fees, it's dispersed camping, first come, first served.
