Great place to stop and refresh on the way to/from denver on 285, very nice next to the river, also a short hike possible across the bridge, did it with the entire family and 7 year old , 1 hour ish total, for the entire round, worth it

Great little historic park along river with picnic tables, hike, clean restroom and a few historic buildings.

Looks like an interesting little place. Sadly when we went the buildings were closed. There were some information boards around though that gave some interesting information. We're planning to go back in Summer when it will hopefully be open. The bridge is really pretty.
