Dinner here after Tiny Home Festival at the Budweiser Event Center. Chips were warm and salsa tasty. Large portions served and delicious. Raspberry marg was refreshing. Staff was courteous.

We really enjoyed our time here. Friendly and quick service. I always love a place that offers chips and salsa from the get-go. I didn't particularly enjoy the flavors of my meal, but everything was good quality and I tried my wife's and hers was good. I have no doubt I'll be able to find any number of enjoyable dishes with their plentiful options.

My husband and I visited Palomino Mexican Restaurant today. The front desk clerk was very nice and very helpful. We decided to sit at a booth in the bar. The server/bar tender Aspynn was terrible. It took her for ever to come to our table to take our drink and food order. We appreciate the free chips and salsa (thank you) however the salsa tasted like it was bad or fishy. Our food took so long to get to the table. When it finally arrived, it was very cold. Because it had sat under some type of heat source, the cheese within the burrito coagulated. Our server never checked to see how our food was or say you're welcome when my husband and I thanked her. When I did not refill of my one alcohol drink she did not ask if I would like something else to drink, just walked away. Yes, I would have loved an ice tea. We asked her for our check and two regulars of hers walked in and sat at the bar. At which time, we overheard her tell them next Saturday was her last day and continued on with her conversation with them. It took her another ten minutes to get us our check. My husband and I understood then why we received such horrible service from her. We notice on the menu, they now charge a 3% kitchen and dishwasher fee (image attached). I'm fine with restaurants suggesting we offer to tip to the back of the house, however I feel they should be tipped just as a server is tipped on service. NOT automatically add 3%. If the food is terrible, then the tip will reflect the food and if the service is terrible, the tip reflects the level of service received. When I was younger, I worked in restaurants and the servers were required to give 3% of their tips to the bar tenders, back of the house and host desk. This ensured that the staff worked together as a team. We do not recommend Palomino Mexican Restaurant. Thank you.

Arrived early for lunch today as was promptly seated. Was served by Levi who was very friendly and made a couple of recommendations of which we did try and we're not disappointed. Meal items for today were: Beef and bean burrito (a la carte) and a side of rice. The burrito was good, beef was nicely seasoned as was the rice. Cheesey carnita chimichanga (a recommended item) where the pork was nicely seasoned, there was a creamy queso inside, the shell was nice and crispy and topped with a chili sauce. It was served piping hot with rice and beans. El Gordo burrito which was a mix of shredded beef and chicken combined with veggies which packed a bit of a punch (in a good way). It was topped with chili sauce as had sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and tomato on the side. For dessert we tried the brownies and the Kaluah mud pie. Brownies were a nice texture where not too crispy nor too soft and included some nice chocolate chunks. The pie was a silky filling on top of a crunchy crust. Overall a great option for Mexican with a wide range of options with great service.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Very limited capacity, it's best to get reservations. Tables are seperated, wiped down and they are very capable handling the Covid response. The service is great food even better!!

Why is this restaurant so opposed to serving customers that want a higher quality drink. Gran Gala IS NOT Grand Marnier and to not stock the good stuff is another huge misstep by this restaurant.

Another misstep?? This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Not meeting ur alcohol requirements hardly justifies "a huge missteap"
