I was treated to the Mother’s Day special which includes three choices for $65. The pics include Prosciutto e Burrata, Insalata di Rucola, Salmone alla griglia com erbe, Rigatoni Verdure, Mango sorbet and Lemon Blueberry ricotta cheesecake. All were so delicious!

Marinera sauce with the "Arancini Siciliani" (Sicilian Riceball) appetizer, was absolutely delicious, I have no words to describe how thick, smooth, creamy, rich & tasteful this sauce is! Fantastic! You get 2 rice balls, crammed full of flavorful mozzarella cheese. My main dish was the "Scaloppine di Pollo ai Funghi" which is chicken with mushrooms which comes with seasoned vegetables cooked to absolute perfection, hot & crispy carrots & green beans with a fair scoop of seasoned mashed potatoes topped with the juices from the wine soaked & seared chicken and CD. Sorry no photos, it was too late, I dug in with my first bite and could not stop eating.For dessert I went for ita ll with a Nutella filled calzone covered with fresh fruit & powdered sugar including a scoop of fresh vanillaice cream, careful this dish could feed 6 all by itself. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Oceanside. I’m not normally a ravioli person, but after having their beef ravioli, I’ve changed my mind. Hubby had the chicken Marsala. Everything was so good. Ate way too much but totally worth. Place has such a great ambiance and love it when restaurants embrace their history. Definitely give this place a try. Already know what I’m ordering the next two times I get to visit! Oh and to top it all off, service is phenomenal. Sean took great care of us and I love how everyone pitched in to help.

Amazing! The ambiance, the space, the decor, the smell of the building, ( I know that sounds weird but this is an old building and with my hyper sensitive olfactory glands it matters) makes this a must for locals and visitors alike. The food is fresh, authentic and perfectly cooked. I had ravioli and expected to feel bloated which was not the case. My husband had the steak which was so well prepared he could cut it with a butter knife. For desert we had the tiramisu which I couldn't finish. It's big enough for 2 people. I've never had such a good Italian dinner. They even have a date night special during the week. I think it's Wednesday night's and around $65 for the date night but I'd call to be sure.I saw a private room in the back which I assume is a great area for any celebration or business meeting. The bar is well stocked and the champagne is delicious. This will be on our regular go-to. People may think it's noisy due to the location near the transit station but it's actually quite and safe. Parking is easy to find. If there's no parking on the street there is a big public FREE parking structure less than a block away. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.
