Easy place to grocery shop. Fair prices and good meats. All that is different now. Rude employees, poor selection and just not a good store anymore. Opt for super one in Hamilton. UPDATE: Visited Safeway for just 3 items. Went self checkout and one item rang up incorrectly. Pressed help......................14 minutes later a rude employee arrived. Left cancelling all items. Done ..

This place is so frustrating. I love Safeway, all of them. I have never had a problem with the app not working. I have only shopped here twice and both times my receipt was wrong. This does not happen at any other Safeway. I have brought it up twice now and the only response is oh the app glitches it happens all the time here. What!?! Like this is normal. Then there is no customer service desk to ask for a refund. I am beyond frustrated and have lost out on savings. Beware if you shop here.

A lot disappointed. Haven't been to Safeway in a while and won't go back. Checker ran things up. Bagger put stuff in bags and didn't put them in cart. Just left them and went to chat with another clerk. Store was slow and she could have easily put them in the cart. Checker started next order and all of my bags were still on counter. I had to go around the check out stand and load bags into my cart to take to the car. My husband worked grocery for 18 years and I know what a courtesy clerk job entails. This was poor customer service. Super One, Albertsons, and IGA all have clerk's load the cart. I will spend my money there.😊
