Wide open spaces and plenty of trails to walk and hike fun place

Beautiful park, restrooms, ample parking paved and dirt trails Extending to Skalkaho Bend Park. Tables and Pavillion with play area for kids. Uncrowded.

Nice bathrooms, easily accessible pathways and trails are a couple of things that made my visit here a happy one. There's a sharing library near the entrance for anyone who wants to sit on one of many benches to read. There's also a playground and shelter with a gazebo nearby. The trails by the Bitterroot River and surrounding area are phenomenal for enjoying a stroll and taking pics. Wildlife is amazing. I go as often as I can.

Always such a great walk the wildlife us awesome. The river is great background noise. Great for kids and dogs. And senior friendly restrooms are close.

As far as I know, you can walk down to the river & pan for gold. I've collected small rocks. It's an open river not private property. Go for it!
Look up KOA Miles City. That is a campground close to the river
