I brought some shoes to this cobbler because it was local and my old cobbler closed. I brought 7 pairs of shoes to be cleaned and fixed and, of those 7, 3 pairs look better than when I brought them in. The guy who works there scolded me and told me that of course he couldn’t do more for my shoes, but he didn’t make this clear when I brought them in (why would I get a pair of shoes cleaned that can’t also be repaired?). He raised his voice and started to yell at me, and I told him that I just wanted to leave, and if he didn’t give me the total I would just leave. He told me he’d call the police. We went back and forth like this for a while: me asking for the total and him demanding my credit card without providing a total. My twin babies were in a stroller a few feet away outside of the shop, crying, and I told him I needed to leave and to please hurry and give me the total. He finally gave me a revised number and I paid him. When I was about to leave, he told me he had my phone number and would write it down to keep a record. I’m saving him the trouble by posting it here.

Absolutely terrible service! I brought my favorite pair of boots that I wore for over 5 years because their heels started having holes of how often and how long I've worn them. Those were excellent boots, great quality, stylish and not cheap. They were absolutely fine everywhere else! When I got them, for some reason the shop decided to not only change the heels, but also their front of the sole as well! They were absolutely perfect before it, those were excellent boots with excellent quality! The shop completely messed them up! Now my shoes are falling apart without me even wearing them. Their sole literally just fell off the minute I put them on at home! When I came back to shop and asked to do something about it. They yelled at ME by saying that it was MY fault. When I brought my boots to another master, he fixed everything immediately and he had no idea why this horrible place did their job in a way they did and even didn't take responsibility for it. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! Save your money, but most importantly save your belongings!

I took my black Rick Owens GeoBasket's to Los Feliz Shoe Repair to have the 'notorious' heel drag issues with ROs repaired. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable (someone who knows his craft) and advised me on the best options to repair the damage. The service turnaround was fast and the result of the repair was meticulous! They even cleaned the shoe and gave the entire sole a great work over. That was definitely, going the extra mile at no extra cost. When I went to pick up the shoes it was a wow moment! I now have my RO Geos looking fresh and the sole is robustly fixed and you can't tell that repair was done, the fusion job looks like the sole is basically new. I am extremely satisfied. I shall be returning soon to have the same issue repaired on my RO Ramones. Beyond all that I was glad to find this place that has experience with work on Rick Owens shoes. I highly recommend Los Feliz Shoe Repair (especially to those who own RO shoes that require maintenance).

Got a pair of dress shoes for my birthday and was looking to add a rubber sole to them. after doing some research, came across this shoe repair store and I couldn't be more happy I did. harry was super nice and welcoming when i came to drop of the shoes. i was looking to add something low profile and the first thing he showed me was this thin vibram sole. not only was the rubber sole thin like i wanted but I was glad he carried a brand that I trust, in vibram. it took 3 days for him to finish the job and he did an amazing job at that! looking forward to wearing these shoes for years to come! we had a brief conversation before we left about the struggles that come, in this day and age, with running a small business. like I told Harry, I wish I could do more to help, and if I was in a position to make things different I would. not there yet, but for now I can leave this review and hopefully help bring him some more business!
