Worse Apple Store I have ever been to! Didn’t even get help and the only excuse they gave me was that I didn’t have an appointment. No good customer service this is one of the reason why Apple looses customers!

By far one of the worst customer "service" experiences I've ever had. I went in to trade in my phone for a new iPhone 13. The employee, Diana, was helpful and knowledgeable, quickly helped choose a phone and related accessories, arranged the upgrade with my wireless carrier, and began arranging for my data transfer from old phone to new. They offered me $90 for the trade in of my old phone and I was told to come back in 2 hours to pick up my new device. It was handed to a "genius" to perform the data transfer. After 3 and a half hours I was back at the store to pick up my phone and was told by another rep that it was "still in process" and would take another 3 hours. Turns out they hadn't begun the transfer because the representative had "forgotten " my passcode and my alternate contact phone number! I left the store frustrated and was told it would be ready for my by closing time. I received a call two hours into it and and was told that the data isn't transferring. They had my phone from 11 am to 8pm (basically their entire business day) and had done nothing! So I picked up my new and old phones and they charged me the $90 they credited me for my old phone. I was told to transfer my data and come back with my old phone within two weeks for my $90 credit. I returned back to the store when I was ready -only to be told my old phone is now valued at $25! Needless to say- I was upset. A supervisor, Nina, was called over to see what kind of solution she can offer me. She came back with a condescending tone of making an "exception" and giving me the $90. Clearly no one there knows what they're doing at this store. We will be going elsewhere for our next device purchase!

Made an appointment online and showed up early to my Genius Bar appointment. I was told to sit and wait for 20-30 mins because they could not check me in. After waiting for that time, we sat at the Genius Bar counter but we were ignored until we followed up on our appointment time. We were then told our appointment time had elapsed and they would try to fit us in. The Genius man took a look at our computer, but abruptly left and helped check out another customer without any communication to us.

You can dispute the amount through your bank account.
They have to physically see and diagnose the unit itself to better give you an estimate of total costs. There might be other problems with your phone aside from the battery. Better give them a call to get price on battery replacement alone. Hipe this helps.
