LA fitness is a solid gym with ready to use equipment and helpful people you meet at the gym. There’s free weights, barbells, dumbbells, all the basics and more you’d hope for in a gym all in one place. They have great amenities and are well maintained. A pool and sauna. They even offer free Zumba classes which is great. The staff however is a whole other story. Before there used to be a good group of about 8-12 knowledgeable and helpful staff, always greeted you with a wide smile. Recently however the staff seems to be lazy. There’s been multiple occasions with multiple staff members where I scan my code and the staff member was on their phone so they didn’t see me scan it, and proceed to ask me to scan again. It’s not a big deal, but it gets annoying and is just not professional. The cleaning staff does a great job of maintaining the place clean and sanitized, I see them hard at work all the time. The staff doesn’t wear name tags anymore, I don’t know why, but that has to change. They did before, but these past 2 months and on they haven’t. When you do ask for a name they get very defensive, not a good attitude. The staff is interchangeable for the most part, especially the front desk, it seems like every 2 weeks there’s someone who quit and someone new got hired. Might be an insight to the management side of things. Overall it’s a 3 stars for me. I just go in and do my thing, the environment the staff provides however could be dramatically improved.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, lots of amenities including pool, jacuzzi and racquet ball courts. Lots of machines. The price for me was a bit much due to the first and last (required) plus initiation fee and then 30 days later a maintenance fee. Cheapest monthly plan is $35 which is not bad at all. I would still advise everyone to check it out. 😁

I'm member of this gym for years but I'm very disappointed recently because of they not being able to keep it clean and is becoming very dangerous place for health not to get healthy what you come here for. also the machines are getting old and you don't see any repairs guys around like couple years ago. Don't recommend this place for now.

First time here at this gym & club. I took a Zumba class than hit sum weights and the spa hot tub. Its not bad a full feature gym plenty of gals & guys getting into shape. Very active gym. Vaccination required against covid.
