I made a very last minute visit after midnight. The drive through was packed with teens. I expected the employees would be drained and getting subpar McDonald's, but I was met with amazing employees as 1am closed in. They were kind and patient and the food was just as good during the day. They also were cranking out the food and cars were moving. Very impressed.

The automated drive thru technology had difficulty understanding my simple order of an egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. After several tries, a real voice asked me rudely "What do you want". I want old school, real person, service which is what I get at our small town local McDonald's in Luxemburg, WI. I drove up to the pay window at this location to see several workers standing at the window. Technology failure at its finest moment in the spotlight. Our simple order of an additional two bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits with hashbrowns was also a failure. The biscuits were dry and not appetizing. The hashbrowns were oily and burned which means they were prepared in cooking oil that went beyond common industry standards. Technology and higher minimum wages has ruined what we remember of better days at so many restaurants from fast food to sit-down dinner style establishments.

It's McDonald's lol can't expect too much. Somehoe they always manage to screw it up. Who knew you pretty much need a PHD to work there. The staff is not too bright.

We dined in last week and the entire time all you could hear is the manager (I assume the manager) yelling and being disrespectful to her staff and making unnecessary rude comments to them. I was also here long enough to witness a family come in and ask if there was anyone there who spoke Spanish. After a few moments the cashier comes back apologizing that there was no one who spoke Spanish so the family left. Only for minutes later to hear multiple staff speaking Spanish to each other. I’ve honestly been thinking about this visit all week because it didn’t sit right with me. I did send in an online review but no one will see it so wanted to do one here.
