Our site was in the wooded section amongst mostly permanent set-ups. Path to our campsite not clearly marked. Grass in site was very long, picnic table was rotted wood ,little pieces of trash littered the campsite, and the fire pit was smaller than others...we had a pit made of some cinder blocks most others had fire rings. Bathrooms were clean, however, we saw a family bathing their three dogs in the showers. On our last night there the tent campers next to us were screaming (during quiet hours) because their dogs were fighting. One of the dogs was roaming around our site making it difficult to leave campsite without hitting it. Our site was peaceful until the campers moved in next to us. It was a nice campground just not one of or favorites.

Stayed here many times years ago and had a wonderful time, the pond and river used to be well kept, and had tons of kids activities… was a great place. While this trip wasn’t horrible it wasn’t great upon our arrival opening the power pole to plug in my friends wife was stung by a bunch of wasps that had a nest inside. There also were quite a few of unfriendly dogs that love to bark. Lots of fireworks were lit off near by stressing out the animals. The pond and river are very unkept with no kids activities onsite. I went to have my propane tank filled at the campground store and they stated it wouldn’t take long and they would bring it to my site when filled, well over and hour and a half later I had to go back to find it filled at the tank site and just left outside. I don’t know if it changed owners but def not like it used to be.

Stayed here for July 4th weekend. Families and groups started pouring in with loud music and kids driving golf carts all over. Quiet hours went right out the window. With fireworks exploding most of the night, dogs were barking constantly. No control by management. We decided that this was not our kind of place and decided to leave early. Asked for a refund and we were told that because of the holiday weekend, there was to be no refund. We were supposed to stay after the weekend and there would be no refund for those nights either. Not willing to debate with the teenage cashier and there was no management available, we just left. I hope the money they kept was worth it, as we will never return nor recommend to others. Very disappointed.

**UPDATE numero dos** seasonal life is the best life 😎 I tell people we have a waterfront vacation villa 👌🏾 *UPDATE* We came back for a weekend and we booked a different site. We had an amazing time. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are pretty decent. Yes the sites are smaller than you would like them to be BUT the staff and the campers are super nice so you don't even notice it. Plus the staff doesn't bother you which is great. I'm giving them a 4.5 stars. It's definitely worth a visit. They still need a pool though. The campsite is pretty clean and the bathrooms are very clean. There are only three bathrooms though and they are pretty spread out so keep that in mind. The campsites are small and pretty close together so you don't feel as if you have a lot of privacy. However all sites have electric and water which is pretty awesome. They definitely need a pool for the kids. The campers and staff were great. It's definitely worth a visit.
