Everyone has bad days right? I think I placed my order when Moss Motors was having a bad day. We had a tough start but they went out of their way to fix the issue. I respect the way this place runs their business and would definitely buy from here.

They intentionally flag random order items as being backordered in order to charge double shipping when the item mysteriously appears in stock later. It seems they make a small profit on their shipping service. As this company has grown over time so has their insatiable greed.

The absolute worst customer service ever. Bought a $600.00 part that was damaged during shipping... contacted customer service to work the return of the part, was passed off to the Parts Department, who said to send pictures. Followed instructions sent pictures (via email) waited 3 days, still not sure of the status or if the pictures even got there sent a 2nd email, 4 days later received an email say the Tech Department would contact me soon. Waited another 2 weeks (3 weeks in total) still nothing, no phone call, email, carrier pigeon or smoke signal. Send a 3rd email requesting an update and still 4 weeks later nothing. Not even a peep. Buyer beware, once they have your money you'll never hear from them again.

There was a time Moss Motors was a great vendor in the past. It has changed and gone bad to do any business with. I have been a customer for years and was able to get parts for my MG MGB British roadster. Recently 2018, their customer service and ordering of parts has become a real hassle. Common parts on sale are out of stock - back ordered with no idea when they will be available ("couple of weeks"}. They now have a parts catalogue of cheaply made parts and a lot of back order- out of stock. The shipping cost are very expensive too and slow to deliver. Most of the Moss phone customer service people are now uninformed and very very rude. I would not recommend anyone to do business with Moss Motors.

If you have the Surrey top, yes, Moss part no. 640-180 should fit the TR5/250 exactly as is does for the TR4/A
