This is a great theater, I just wish they would bring back the refills on the large popcorn. I also hope they keep the rent a whole theater room out as an option. I like that they also bring anime movies or oldies to the theater, it really brings options. This is great place to go see the movies over the other theaters. This is first choice unless all the good seats are taken!

6/9/22 5:00pm - I just wanna say that I’m very disappointed with this movie theater today. I took the bus to get here just to find out that they wouldn’t allow me in just because I had my backpack with me. I asked to speak with their manager in the hopes of leaving it in their front counter until my movie was over. All I got back was “Well, we’re going to have to reschedule your movie for tomorrow than….” Very unhelpful and not very friendly they were with me and I got very lucky that I was able to leave it at my job in the collection where I work. Only clear backpacks are permitted. If I have any advice to offer for this company is for them to get some lockers installed for their guests, instead of telling them in the last minute to go home or take it back to their car.

Decent venue. Service had dropped over the past few months and has lost its luster. Nothing fresh or clean as it's been in the past. Plenty of movie times, but you only have four movies playing and don't have much going on.

Paid $16 for my ticket and enjoyed my experience. For snacks and drinks though Is a whole other problem. The prices are way higher than a regular movie theater you find somewhere else but, the experience in watching a movie on a big screen including the space between chairs is nice. 100% recommend someone coming here to watch a movie they been holding themselves on to watch it here!

Well, it's worth a shot to try. It's a good movie, maybe try to just look older. Carry a blockbuster card in your hand to add to the effect.

Call to ask about matinee prices
Cinemark 16 at The Collection Oxnard has nomal stadium style seating. They also have DBox seats that move. No leather seats or loungers. The Cinemark 10 in downtown Ventura has the faux leather reclining lounger seats.
They’re $6 for regular 2D tickets on sundays. If you want to watch it in their XD theater or Dbox, 3D, etc. it’ll be around $2 or $5 more. You can always check their app or website for ticket pricing.

D-BOX is changing the way you watch movies by moving the body and sparking the imagination through motion. With D-BOX, you control the intensity so you can move with the movie and feel every scene as if you were in it. We remove the line between you and the screen to create hyper-realistic, immersive, one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences that pull you into the story like never before. D-BOX's immersive cinematic motion is... -Non-distracting -Harmonized with the audio and video -Not a theme-park ride experience -A great and exciting upgrade Find a Cinemark D-BOX theatre location near you!
Per Cinemark's app: Mask Policy: Face masks are required for non-vaccinated guests and strongly encouraged for all other guests, except where required by local mandates. Masks may be removed when eating and drinking inside the auditorium
Slight recline when pressure is applied but not any sort of mechanism to actually recline.

"D-BOX is the unique, award-winning cinematic motion that provides the ultimate immersive movie-watching experience. Sit in a D-BOX enabled seat and feel the action on the screen as if you are literally in the movie. D-BOX's immersive cinematic motion is... -Non-distracting -Harmonized with the audio and video -Not a theme-park ride experience -A great and exciting upgrade" Pretty much the seats have built in speakers and vibrate to enhance your sensory experience. When you walk into the theatre, they have two demo seats immediately on the left side next to the arcade.
You'll have to call and talk to one of the managers about that.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult 18 and over.
