We bought King fish on 6/23/2022 from Kam Man food at Edison, NJ. Th fish was very old and not fresh. They sell fish that is not sold for a long time and has been in the freezer and is extremely old. We came home and cooked the fish right away only to find it off taste and not firm. We were new to buying fresh fish at an Asian store and also new to the area. We spent and wasted a huge amount of money on the fish and trusted kam man food completely. But they broke our trust. We will never buy anything especially fish from Kam Man food, Edison, NJ anymore. Everyone, beware!

Kam Man has been a staple for Asian groceries for my family, even though it's like 45 min away. The supermarket is mostly sufficient. This review is only for the ready to eat counters, where one can purchase roast duck, roast pork, char siu, etc. Roast pork purchased yesterday had a bottom layer that were almost just fat. Super deceptive practice since it's hidden from view. Fat weighed enough to cost $3, for $18.46 total price. Pretty ridiculous! Taste was decent otherwise, but overly salty.

Their deli is not expensive and a perfect option for lunch. You get three items with rice and soup for a low price. Not to mention how delicious their deli is. They are also a very good Asian market with all the essential Asian goods. Truly amazing!

Thoughtful Reviews

Asian specialty food market located on a well traveled highway (Route 1). Bakery and prepared food sections have an extensive reasonably priced variety of items. This store/parking lot is very busy on weekends, so if at all possible shop during the week and preferably in the morning when it is much less crowded.
