Beautiful white sand beach. The water is amazingly clear and unexpectedly warm, yet refreshing.. Most people seemed to be keeping to themselves on the Sunday we were there. We saw lots of dogs and most were well behaved. Parking was a bit of a hassle around 3:00 p.m.as we had to drive down the beachfront and halfway back before finding a spot. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find anywhere in the area with free parking. We're also happy to find showers, so we could rinse off before leaving.

One of my favorite places in Fort Lauderdale. Less crowded, can bring your furry friend.

Didn't have a dog, but brought back memories. Ft.Lauderdale Beach is so beautiful. It's home! I live now up North now, sometime you forget how much you miss somewhere, until you smell feel the warmth walk in the sand and just laying in the warm water hugging you like a lover, for me like my husband 😊. How I wish, I pray, that I didn't have cancer. Maybe, I wouldn't feel the same about the little things. I would love to live longer to take a grandchildren home to Florida show them My Love My Home Happiness 😊. Just be a kid with them. With my husband by my side. He's why I live up North. My ❤️ 😍 💖 Always Forever ❣️

Good place to take the pups to. Watch for the end of the stretch of beach that isn't dog friendly. Easy access if you find parking on the beach side, it can be aggravating parking on the other side. Parking fees are reasonable. Check the times prior to going.

No permit necessary. Check dog beach hours and only on Fri, Sat &Sun. Only one section of the beach.
The beach does not close, nothing more than those days you can not take your pet.
All the beaches are really dog friendly as long as you have your dog on a leash clean up after your dog and your dog is well behaved we walked for miles down the beach with our dog had no problem we was there all day long sunrise to sunset there's pretty much signs all along Fort Lauderdale beaches from top to bottom that say dogs permitted on beach as long as you pick up leave no trace your dog is well-behaved and your dog is on a leash no longer than 8 ft I was just there for 10 days about a week ago we walked for Miles up and down the beach scene lifeguards had no problems whatsoever and we had a German Shepherd
It is a very busy beach. Lots of people and pets there daily. I would look for a smaller and less crowded beach for traumatized dog like yours. I feel it would be very stressful for your dog. Best of luck .
Allowed? Not sure about that but there are plenty of people who do crash on the beach, mostly those without any other means. I might have "boondocked" once or twice but def not recommended
NO! It is posted that dogs must be on a leash. Enforcement has been lax since covid, but the rules haven't changed.
There is no charge to bring your dog. Just take good care of it and the environment. Clean up and keep control.
The dog beach is between Lifeguard towers 14 & 15 on Friday, Saturday & Sunday afternoons/early evening. There is a city Park Ranger that collects the daily use fee and provides information on how to get a yearly pass.
Be on a leash and clean after Him .
Yes
Yes you can, if I remember correctly there are plenty of places throughout the park to launch from. Enjoy your beautiful time, we hope nature shows herself fully while y'all are on the water!
Yes but make sure it is the dog beach portion of the beach. congratulations btw!
