Enjoy walking this area. I take my dog for a walk here on occasion for something different. Some good fishing spots to check out at a later date.

It's a small park, but clean, a paved track (¼ mile) around a soccer/lacrosse type field. The town shovels the track when it snows. Picnic benches with wheelchair access, a nice playground for kids, basketball court, water access for kayaks/canoes (no swimming). Right next to Occum Pizza.

Absolutely adorable little park and play area! The athletic field always looks impeccable, and the kids sure do seem to love it. All this in addition to a very nice boat launch onto the Shetucket River. Portable toilets are provided by the town, which is very nice. My only advice is to watch out for the pothole on the way in. That one's a doozy!
