Today was my daughters 5th birthday . Park was very nice , very spacious although one of the park attendants made my reservation a living Hell. She bothered my guest the whole entire time . She wanted us to pick CRUMBS off the floor for deposit back . I would love to book again but because of her I wouldn’t recommend to anyone . She was truly a racist . The movie Karen was very similar to my experience.

Wonderful park! Great for disc golf when other parks are flooded.. Several families of burrowing owls can be observed here. Their burrows are roped off so be sure not to enter. It's a felony to tamper with the owls or their burrows. You can get plenty close and take pictures from outside the rope.

Wonderfully maintained park with many picnic areas, a disc golf course and children's play areas all surrounding a lovely lake - you can even fish there! They also just repaired the fountain to add to the overall pleasant ambiance. Even the maintenance staff people are friendly and helpful too. Note there is an entrance fee on weekends and holidays ($1.50 per person) though you can purchase an annual family pass good at ALL Broward county parks. Picnic areas can be rented and that's recommended for weekend parties. Otherwise plenty of parking and a nice respite just off of Peters road!

Loved this park. Went with my family it was a Beautiful experience seeing the turtles, fish, ducks,geese. Nice place to connect with nature. Will definitely be back

Yes. It's large, pavilions are spread out. Playground area for kids and a workout area for adults. Leashed pets allowed and even a lake for catch & release fishing. Frisbee golf course too.

Yes you can grill, have bounce houses, and throw parties. It's a very nice park in a great area with lots of space!😊

apparently a few trees on the eastside are deemed dangerous, next month hopefully it will be open again. dont know why at least the westside arent open to public. the storm has been tough on our public parks. #godspeed
Yes, but they ask that a leash be used at all times and that the leash is no longer than 6ft. There are other dog walkers, geese, swans, and endangered owls, not to mention the people playing disc golf-which dogs love!
No the food trucks have moved to Wednesdays 5 PM to 9 PM at Volunteer Park on Sunrise Blvd.
Yes, you would need to rent a Pavillion.

I don't think you can stay over night they usually try to get you out when it starts to get dark unless they have a special section I don't know about I would ask the workers at the gate to make sure.

Bass, Catfish, Bluegill, Red Ear Sunfish. There's potential for any lake, canal etc for there to be gators. I haven't seen any, but it's Florida, it happens.
Yes , park is big enough to find a spot to chill and jam in without disrupting other folks in the park
They did. Was 6:00pm several weeks ago and now it's 7:30pm. Also open later hours on tuesday if the food trucks are there. Bathrooms close early on weekdays so be warned. Open 8 am.
The park is closed I went past last Monday to try to find out the reopening .. No sign on the gate yet.
