My poop here was absolutely delightful. There were many Pokémon to unleash my wrath upon. There were 2 choices, a public restroom which was quite nice or a wretched disgusting bird filled poopy portapotty. Every time I came back to the bathroom it was clean, but then after it was not. The bathroom was clean, my conscience was not. I like to come back here for my summer vacations. My family hates me.

If this rest area is any indication of what Connecticut holds its not very welcoming as the Welcome Center was shut down two years ago and only sparse vending machines along with semi clean restrooms. There is an area for your pets to go to the restroom and plenty of seating stretch your legs out from your long car drive. There are lots of birds and bird feeding stations here however which is nice. It would be nice if they were to reopen the welcoming Center. There are lots of pamphlets handstands so you can explore Connecticut on your own.

They are in the process of renovating rest stops and welcome centers. Traveling from PA to MA and back on a frequent basis for 10 years. They are making an effort.
