I visited in mid-afternoon in late October. There were dark clouds threatening rain, but glorious blue skies were still peaking through. There was a serene atmosphere: where the vibrant autumnal colors painting the landscape amidst the soothing sounds of the various harmonies created by fast flowing water, which created spectacular falls, rapids, and whirlpool visuals in various areas were visually stunning, and walking atop crunchy and soggy fallen leaves underfoot made me feel giddy. Extraordinarily beautiful. There were a lot of solo hikers this day. It seems getting out in nature is a phenomenal way to clear one's head AND remind ourselves we have a Sovereign God who is truly the most divine artist! These few photos don't do it justice. I'll definitely be back with my hubby, so we can enjoy a longer trek together.

A beautiful area to ride or walk through. The trails have been slightly damaged by recent flooding and filled in some areas with very heavy or very fine gravel. It's important to pay attention so as not to lose control of the bicycle.
