Had dinner tonight at Moya. In short, this is a unique and very good restaurant. My wife had the goat cheese salad and loved it. A pasta we had as an appetizer was very good. We had the short ribs and shrimp for entrees. The shrimp was grilled perfectly and served with a sauce that is both spicy and lightly sweeted with honey. The short ribs were also served with a gravy that was exceptional. Their entrees are meant to be shared tapas style. Deserts and coffee were great too. Service was exceptional. visited Jim Thorpe for the first time. Nice places to dine in town but they are more standard fare. Moya really stands alone.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We came for a weekend getaway and a friend said you have to go to Moya! This place did not disappoint, please make reservations like we did because they do book up! We enjoyed the cheese plate, flatiron steak, branzino, sautéed potatoes (which I could not get enough of) and the perfectly cooked and seasoned sautéed broccoli with a perfect light creme brûlée for dessert. The service by Breanne was great! I can’t wait for our next trip to come back.

I have to say this was some of the best food and service that I have had in a while. Very unique food that was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! The service was great, our server was on top of things, we didn't have to wait for anything. I would highly recommend that you go here if you are in the area.

Visited Jim Thorpe for the first time and decided to try Moya for dinner. We were able to make reservations online about a week out, which I'd highly recommend doing becuase Moya was packed the day of our Friday dinner. The vibe inside is quaint and intimate, with red walls and bright art complementing the dining rooms. Service was great and fast, and the menu was fairly varied with interesting drink options. Some other useful info: Moya is not BYOB and is not cash only. We ordered multiple dishes and drinks and everything came out quickly as they were completed. Overall, I'd say the food was good with some dishes being great, such as the mushrooms and white beans, and some were just okay such as the smoked trout which could have been fresher. I'd definitely recommend coming to Moya if you're in Jim Thorpe and looking for dinner, but expect to order several different dishes to have a full dinner.

I would suggest you try somewhere else. Moya was great but no longer and I don't think they would be accommodating to food sensitivities.
