Great service! The employees are even nice. I've had to visit our local office 4 or 5 times now and every time was easy peasy. Anyone who thinks different has never been to an Ohio BMV.

My experience was very positive. Friendly and efficient. We were in and out in 15 minutes

It was packed! Along with a line out the door. However, I was fortunate enough to have been placed in the Express Lane. I sat for 5 minutes, my number was called, and then, I was out of there within 5-10 minutes. CSR's were very helpful, friendly and polite. Thank you again 😊

You must have patience do to theirs only 4 or five people helping so bring a good attitude because you have to get your paperwork done it for you and not the person behind the counter. My appointment was at 1:55 and I left at 2:40. But I got what I came for. And just remember how many people are moving HERE!!!

Of course your birth certificate, proof of social security/card, w-2 form (not handwritten), paycheck stub, SSA-1099; or any 1099(not handwritten) and finally proof of change of residential address two of these documents, Acceptable documents include, but are not limited to: Florida voter information card, Florida vehicle registration or title, Utility bill; and/or Selective service card. There are other documents you can use for proof of residency.
If you live here, then yes.
Yes
When I moved from Florida I registered a car and there was no 400 dollar impact fee...
Yes S
Because they have to comply to the Florida Laws and to protect any use of your SSN number by someone else. Therefore by them insisting for you to show them it in true reality protects you from fraud
Do I need to make an appointment to change my driver’s license from another state to Florida In Brevard County?
Yes you can i would advise you do that because this dmv is slow
I don't have a birth certificate, what else can I use to get a picture id
Personally because of what you want to do I would go directly to the bureau it's in front of target on Courtney .The people at work there I have found to be the most helpful and friendly people of any government place I've ever been ! I assure you 10 minutes of your time and you will know what you want to know and how to do it in the best way to do it .
Make a appointment and bring all of your information and your Credit card.
8:30 am
I'm sorry Larry. I don't know for certain about this forum. I know others are available so you might want to see what's available. Or check with your optician.
The standard fee for reinstating your license is $45.
You should be able too
Proof of Florida residence and two forms of ID plus must make an appointment.
Appointment only, and have registered vehicle in your name or a bill of sale with vin #
Was their a will? Without a will you're gonna have to prove your the only living sibling. Otherwise it would have to go through probate
It should be listed on their website somewhere, I would assume.. However I believe you would need An ID or a birth certificate that has your maiden name on it and your marriage certificate with your married name on it to change your name. As for your new address, I don't believe you have to prove that you live there you just have to go in and tell them your new address and turn in your old driver's license or ID card, and they will make you a new one. You can get both of these things done at the same time. I would however recommend making an appointment. I don't even know if they'll see anybody without one.
Yes, if you Google driving school, it comes up with 3 local places. One is in Merritt island called Maintenance of Traffic, and 2 places in Rockledge, one is called Counterattack Evaluation, and the other is called All Generations Driving School. Hope this helps.
Call the phone number, you are probably just not in the right area on the web page to make appointments. I also could not find out how to get an appointment just to transfer a tag. And by all means DO NOT just show up without an appointment like I did. They will turn you away.
They tested my vision just before they took my picture for my new license.
Depending where you live and what the tax is, you would pay that percentage times 80k
I had a great experience minimum wait time
My birthday is Feb.5. I would like to set up appointment to renew it.
I don't think so either. Inside there are a couple of people working a main desk, you might be able to drop something off with them. Appointments are only available online as far as I know.
You need your birth certificate n social security card n 2 pieces of mail of your current resident
Make an appointment, you have to prove your address. $35
You will need to get a form from your Doctor and take it in with you to get a handicap plate
Take it on, it needs to be surrendered. You can pay a cheaper amount if you need an extra license plate later on. MKe sure you ask about it.
Go to dmv.gov and make the appointment
Yes you can change your add online, go on later in the evening then there is lesser activitie and it will go faster. Good luck
Louise,
Please reach out by phone, to the DMV OFFICE for the most accurate information about your question. I
If I was you when you call to make an appointment...ask them do you have everything they want.
Squidbrick,
The best people to talk with are the Department of Motor Vehicle staff. They have no reason to lie to you. Explain to them why neither of your parent(s) can attend. The licensed driver needs to be there if you, just happen to fail. The law is requiring you to be in the presence of a liscenced adult to get to drive to the exam cite.
Talking about your parent (or legal guardian, not being there) because you are not yet an adult your parent or legal guardian must accept responsibility for your actions while driving until you are an adult. Something to discuss with DMV, Does your parent need to be there beside you? Or is it a matter of them completing a notarized form
As soon as you have two ways to prove your new residence (two bills with your name / address or similar) and after you make an appointment online.
Yes just let them know to register that plate to the next vehicle information.rhe plate always needs to match the description of the vehicle so it need to be registered. It's unlawful to have a plate in a vehicle with registration..
Your license and a bill with your address on it
Registration from before and ID I do believe
Yes he does. I had the same issue to get another disabled plate since mine broke. Still had to get my physician to sign it. Good luck 🙏
Yes. What they call. The 5 points. Social. Proof of address. Birth certificate. And two more form of ID. Bills insurance if you have. Good luck 🙏
Yes but you need to transfer the registration which you can do online
Get a copy from DMV.
Bring your birth certificate in and if you have an old license bring that along
no
Yes. As long as you know your son's tag number, year and make of vehicle you can renew with no problem. You can renew a tag 3 months before it's due online, in person or via mail. Happy renewing!
2 proofs of residency & $35.00
You can go online input your name and drivers license number and any cars you own will come up. If you're not registered with DMV you will have to register first.
No you dont
It's not necessary you can do it if you want
Atleast 1 letter with your name and address in Florida.
48 dollars
Go here and find the location you want on the right side of the page you will see "appointments" in red https://www.flhsmv.gov/locations/brevard/
Go on to brevarddmv.com
If you haven't already gotten there. First you need to take the DATA or TLSAE course available on the DMV website. After you complete the course you are then eiligable to proceed to get a learners permit. You have to set up an appointment and take the written test. Once you've passed that test you can get your learner's permit to practice driving and then continue on to take the road test and I believe one more exam. I am also over 18 and just got my learners permit. Hope this helps you!
Call the pawn shops the one in Cocoa on 520 near the post office has renewal courses. They will give you paperwork then you will need to pay the fee to tenew & the class. Then send it out in the mail it takes a few weeks. Very simple process
