This practice is a joke the office staff are very rude they are not very understanding of people's occupations or people's time schedules they tried to get me in and they canceled my appointment after I had to take off of work two different times then kept contacting me while I was working and in a very dangerous situation knowing what I do for work then they tried to move my appointment to a later date an earlier date a later time and a later time now I'm to the point I feel as if they are unable to handle my surgical needs professionally and do not recommend this place

Excellent Dr. This is the second surgery he has done for my mom. One 10 years ago and another today. He took wonderful care of my mother like she was his only patient. He also cared about me(just the daughter in waiting) enough to personally call and let me know how she was doing. I don’t know many doctors that take the time to do this anymore. I only hope that he is my surgeon when I need his specialty.

Wonderful surgeon Dr. Penukonda. I had a very large painful cyst approximately tennis ball size by my axila area growing rapidly and doctor scheduled a fast next day surgery to remove it. I'm so glad he did, now I'm recovering with no pain or issues, Thank you Dr. Penukonda! Office staff is also great!

If you are being seen for a consult, make sure you are being billed correctly. I have a $50 copay for a specialist with United Healthcare. The doctors office was verified to be in-network prior to the visit. It was a 15 minute appointment for a physical exam, with no scans or labs, only to be told no surgery was necessary. Yet, I was charged $150.00. When asked why, I was told that if the insurance company doesn’t reimburse the office enough, I could even end up owing more because the office visit fee is based on your deductible. However, UHC has verified they have a contract rate for an office visit consultation with the provider and as such should be no more than $50.00 per my plan. I now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company and UHC is opening an investigation.
