A very trendy place for special occasion dining. Also a bar on the 16th floor for young people to hang out after work. Finally got a chance to dine here after hearing about it for a long time. It was very easy to get here in DTLA. The only way to park is valet. The cost for the valet is $13. Got to the 15th floor through 2 elevator rides. Once enter the restaurant, you can feel the energy of this place, lots of people and up beat music. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Got us two appetizers, baked Brie and grilled octopus. Although small portion, the pastry Brie was amazing. Eaten with pickled onion, it was delicious. The octopus was equally good. All the veggies came with this dish truly elevated the flavor of the grilled octopus, highly recommended. Our main dishes consisted of braised short ribs and Chilean sea bass. The short rib was scrumptious and the meat was so tender. My Chilean sea bass was cooked so well and I enjoyed every bit of the fish. It was tender and flavorful. I had another sea bass the previous night in Newport Beach, it was like day and night compared to this one. Love the the way they cook it here. You can tell this restaurant really master the way to prepare this dish. After dinner, we went up to the rooftop bar. Unlike the photos shown on Yelp from the business, I didn’t see any stunning views of DTLA. There were too many people that packed the roof top bar and I was disappointed not being able to see the skyline of DTLA.

I get the hype! I loved my experience here and would definitely come back. There are two floors. The bottom floor is for dinner service and has a live band that plays at certain times and we had the pleasure of experiencing it! The ambiance was amazing. The top floor is first come first serve for drinks. The view is great. It’s a more intimate space but great for a date or group gathering. Also good for pictures.

First of all, they are all well welcoming to customers. My boyfriend and I felt good the first time. Second, you should try their cocktails! I had Midnight in Paris (absolutely was perfect cocktail ever), Penthouse Passion. My choice was perfect! Third, Our Server, food, the view was just amazing. I can say prices are reasonable. Finally, we had a great date night!! If you visit here absolutely you will love it. The view of course phenomenal and romantic also the food, the desert, cocktails everything too.

Steak Frites and pan roasted salmon were delicious! Service was perfect for the occasion and the server added some nice touches after finding out it was our honeymoon! The dessert was recommended by our server and I am so glad we listened to him because that was the best bread pudding I’ve ever had!!

For a proper dinner the range is between $26-$39. The food is amazing.
Absolutely! The decor inside is lovely and the garden like setting on the roof is also nice. Just plan to not go in the heat of day, very little shade on the roof. Another wonderful spot would be Yamashiro. Be sure to check out the garden at night.
No you dont! There is a bar at the top level that is open air and doesnt require any reservations. To eat on the lower level (which is about half outside) and have seating, it is best to make a reserv as its always busy!
It's up to you; wanna look good? Dress up. Not in the mood? Shorts will get you in. It's a real cool abd laid-back ambiance
My friend did reserve a table with her card on file to eat there.
That is too bad. We didn't appreciate the wait either outside. It's a bad way to service customers
Yes, especially if you're arriving at night
yes ..grown and sexy atmosphere
It depends on the day you want to attend. The weekends will require more advanced booking. Weekdays could be a day in advance only.
Last time I went the max people I saw together were 4. But call them and ask 😁
Limited time dining. 1 hour without a reservation; 1 hour 45 minutes w/ reservation
I was there last week and seems like a few of the staff got a bit of an attitude. Wasn't like that before
They use opentable for reservations so you should be able to
Yes i Will recommend that you reserve a table and call them ahead if you are going somehow to be late.

Google address to get to building. As soon as you walk into the building doors you will see the elevators. You take alevator to 15 th floor (restaurant level). To go to the next level up, you walk into the restaurant make a quick left to go up one more flight of stairs (lounge and bar). Staff can also direct you.
You should do it as soon as possible because they book up fast especially during peek hours.
It varies, you'd have to call. The Sunday I was there, they had a very good jazz band
They don't have dedicated parking. There's a lot under Pershing Square and then several others in the surrounding area.
It’s for purchase via perchla.com just click on gift cards you can have cards picked up at location or shipped to your home hopes this help need any for help feel free to ask away
Their brunch menu has various vegetarian options and some vegan options. Not sure about the onion soup.
I went for dinner, and they did have live music ;)
Probably. You're paying for the view. I've never been there for brunch.
Yes, just not after 8pm
No go away
All the ppl have they own fun I belive the perch restaurant will have event for tha ocasion
Valet
It is hard to say, it was very noisy and crowded
They say that they hold it for 15 minutes. They may be more flexible depending on how busy they get. On Sundays, they have a lot of people waiting for a table and they will be strict about their 15 min grace time
You can order food also. But if you are OK to not sit outside, you can usually be seated in 15-20 minutes. We got seated immediately without any wait when we were there last week. The 7.1 earthquake was complimentary :)
It is better if you book. Cost depends on what you order and varies a lot between brunch or dinner
No ser time limit,
Depends what you like. But I think it was $15 and up. It's the place you drop $$$$ in
Not sure! Vegetarian and Pescatarian yes...but not sure about vegan....might want to call
There is a bar, so you might want to check with them directly.
The restaurant yes but the rooftop is not
Menu items range on average from 12-20 dollars. I'd plan to spend at least 25-30 dollars per person, although you can easily spend much more than that: everything is delicious!
Perch accepts Discover Card. I used Discover Card on Friday night. Great place, great drinks, good food, and a cool view
25-40 per plate. Atmosphere is the best in town:)
Their menus say "brunch served until 4:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays."

It not a must but is recommended. We were a walk-in around 730pm and got seating quite quickly. It wasnt preferred seating (next to the glass window) but it was still very nice.
Yes...you can have dinner on the rooftop. It's a great place with good food. You'll enjoy it!
The sidewalk is where you can get valet parking. There is parking on at the curb but you'll be walking. There is also parking at Perishing Square which is at the nearest corner to the Perch.
It's best to call and make a reservation
I saw one party vaping at one table but it was situated at the end of the patio and the breeze at that time was blowing the gases from that table directly off of the patio and away from the building. No one in our party was a smoker, so we never found if one could just light up at any table. It all might depend on how the wind is blowing. Since there are variables involved, I'd recommend calling ahead.
It did on the Sunday I was there, nice mellow jazz.
Yes
On street parking is limited. . use the valet
Valet or Self pay parking at corner of hill and 5th
Valet is $10 and worth it
No. Happy hour M-F 4-6pm, Brunch Sat & Sun 10am-4pm
All of downtown's kind of expensive
I didn't see children and I wouldn't take mine. The ambience is for adult
Don't see why not. Normally though one doesn't need a reservation for the bar (to order drinks) area up top...
You can smoke while you drink on the rooftop bar, and they have heaters but bring an extra jacket.
I don't know Sorry went about 8pm
There is a parking lot at the corner, $10 until 11:30 pm. But most of the nights they have Valet parking
Call them and make a reservation, they should be able to accommodate your group.
They might not let them in.
Not sure but Google maps will answer that for you
I usually like to park in the underground parking, Perishing Square. Its 7 dollars on weekdays and 12 -15 on weekends.
Making a reservation is also extremely helpful. The lineup can get very very long
No as much of a family restaurant, more of a romantic or lounge atmosphere
I went for dinner about a month ago...$20 to $30.00 per dish.
