Stopped for lunch. Like the old style bar atmosphere but think dining room and serving areas are in sad need of a makeover/ update. A little too dark and dreary. Nice staff, food was mediocre. I ordered the Wurtzburger.

Went to Danny's on a Monday night after traveling from out of state to Wurtsboro. Things appeared somewhat chaotic as orders were being sent to wrong tables not what people ordered etc. We ordered a pizza with several toppings. After about 30 minutes waitress came over to ask what was supposed to be on pizza. They had messed up order. She said they would fix it. 20 minutes later we were brought our pizza still wrong but worse crust was hard and dried out. Instead of making a fresh pie they put new toppings on the old crust and recooked it. It was too late to go to somewhere else so we ate what we could. When we mentioned we were not happy with meal, the waitress's reply was Oh Well. We have been coming to Danny's for 10 years. It will be a few years before we return. Someone in management needs to check out what is happening to this place.

VERY enjoyable meal! So glad we went. Recommended to us by a coworker. Generous portions and absolutely delicious! Will definitely return. Want to save room for dessert next time. Service was very good too!

Overall not bad. Decent food, service was generally slow but our server was helpful. Air conditioning was too strong and blowing on us but she turned it down when we asked and checked back on us to see if it was better. We ordered the bratwurst and a tuna salad sandwich. Not sure why it took so long for the food to arrive since neither of those should take long to assemble. A couple who ordered after us got their food first. Fries were nice and crispy though!
