Got to learn a lot about the mining culture. The challenges miners were facing that were told by our guide makes one appreciate the hard work these miners put in even more. The mine itself used to be a zinc mine, and below a certain level it’s flooded so you only get to see the parts closer to surface, though it was more than enough since the whole tour including 15-20 minutes in the museum itself took more than 2 hours. Everyone we interacted with were polite.

This was an amazing experience! Not your regular run of the mill tourist attraction but it's family friendly and wheelchair accessible. Kids will love it! Good guides and they patiently answer all questions you may have. Tours start 10am and 1pm and take about 2 hours to complete. The tours are in a manageable group of 25 people at a time. They have a rock museum where they turn on ultraviolet light and all the rocks glow! The entire group let out a collective "wow"! It does get chilly once you are inside the mine. A light jacket is recommended.

Very worth my time Pros: - Friendly for family, adults and kids - Amazing rock collection - 2 cool museums - 2 hour tour - Nice gift shop - 13$ for adult ticket Cons - Tour size could have been smaller so I could have heard the tour guide better - Some kids were not behaving

What a great experience! The museum was child friendly in that they could touch multiple things but also informative enough to be very interesting for the adults. The tour itself was fantastic- I learned so much. The tour guides were very well-informed and gladly answered all our questions. This is great treasure- we can’t wait to go back!

Yes. It is over flat but uneven surfaces. Parts are wet and puddles are common. Wear solid footwear. Inside the mine it will be damp and cool.

Not really, the walking areas are mostly flat but in general I wouldn't recommend it. You walk over some trail tracks for carts and puddles that might mess with or get wheels stuck.
