Normally, I'm not the type of person to leave a review, but in this case, our experience at this apartment complex has been so overwhelmingly negative that I felt obliged to make a post, and also rant about my frustrations in hopes that you do not make the same mistake as we have in living at this complex. First and foremost, the sheer amount of noise from screaming kids makes working from home absolutely impossible. Management has done absolutely nothing about the noise, other than make a bulletin post. Each day, kids run up and down the stairs and in our hallway, and the walls are so thin, you can hear every scream and yell they make throughout the day. When we moved in initially, we thought the apartment complex seemed fine. On the first night, we found multiple roaches crawling around our unit, but when we brought it up to management, Elaina, the building manager, had the audacity to suggest that it was our fault, that maybe we had cockroaches in our moving boxes As this building is quite old, the water that comes out of the pipes has a yellow discoloration, which management insists that the water is safe to drink. If that is not enough, we have a small puppy living with us as well, quiet and well mannered, but the kids are quite frightened of her. They scream when they see her, and they've thrown rocks at her on multiple occasions. We've kindly asked both the kids and their parents if they could please keep the noise levels down, at the very least during our working hours, on multiple occasions, but it seems the volume has only increased as a result. I personally have bought noise canceling headphones, and we keep all windows closed in the unit, but you can STILL hear them clear as day, as if they were yelling directly into your ear. These kids are supposedly "supervised" by their parents, who simply stand around and chat amongst themselves while their kids go ahead and make our lives a living hell. In spite of all of this, we did not elect to utilize our 30 day window to terminate our lease, as management did eventually resolve the cockroach issue, and we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. This is something my girlfriend and I deeply regret, as we are now punished by this choice each and every day we are in this unit. New system erased all existing car data and not capturing new data. Months ago the management brought new system replacing the existing one which erased all customer data. Recently my car is towed for parking in apartment parking where apartment is doing some work, when i asked them everyone got a call before towing, why i didn't get a call, they told me, Your car was not in the system and i don't know who you are .I told them i gave my car information in application and you gave me the tag. he said sorry since the car was not on the system i am unable to call you. Seriously keep the upgrades to retain customer data, Not sure what are all other information missing.

Shadow Oaks is really the best community in the area. The staff goes above and beyond especially Elaina and Branden in the office. We have really appreciated their fast responses to any concerns we have. A few things were broken when we moved in and they fixed it so fast. We will be signing the lease again and love this community. It's so quiet and serene.

I have moved to this apartment complex last year. The complex is well decorated with lots of greenery and flowers throughout the year. Brandon is an amazing leasing manager. The monthly rent of the apartment is also competitive considering the nice location. I wish the maintenance would become faster.
