Have mixed feelings, but this stay was not the best. Love that it is FCFS since we to tend to wander without set plans and don't always know where we will spend the night. There are about 30 sites with porta potties with handwashing station, trash cans, and running water faucets at few spots throughout the campgrounds. Road is a one way paved path, separate walking paths, there are picnic tables, fire pits and visibility numbered sites with typical camp rate. Host was helpful and is fairly attentive to who is on-site. Since it can accommodate several campers, there is not as much privacy at some sites. Campers 2 sites over were loud late night & our site (25) was by the road (leads to hwy 101) and car noise also impeded a good night sleep. It is definitely pretty & looks well maintained, but unless fully out of options or able to try another site, do not want to stay there. The host was kind in offering another site that would be opening, but we decided to explore southbound.

As county parks go, this one is a delight to the senses set amongst the giant Redwoods! Although the drive through roadway is tight and narrow as are the, generally, short and small few camping sites, it is this very closeness to the trees that is delightfully different and pleasing! Big and long rig owners should "walk" the park before driving into it! But, small vehicle campers will enjoy this uniquely different but small County campground!

Beautiful little campground in the redwoods. Not meant for large campers but the host went out of his way to squeeze our 40’ 5th wheel in when we found ourselves needing a night there. The kids loved hiking the trails and exploring the beautiful campground.

HIDDEN GEM!!! Its a $20 fee per night its so beautiful and unique from other camp sites. the workers so so incredibly sweet!!! We had a oopise with other kids bullying my disabled little brother but a worker helped out and they apologized thankfully. There's a bada$$ lady who sells fire wood by the restrooms for $10-20 we got a $10 bundle (which is a lot of wood!!)she chops all the wood herself and delivers it to you! Best camping experience.

I don't believe so here but if so not more than 5$
ALSO
I got firewood at Wal Mart.
Tough one, spots fill fast. No way to know what's left as far as I know without showing up.
First come first serve
I would say that there are some redwoods, fir pines, Cedar Pines, and a few more
15$ per night
It was 15 a night in August.
