Highly recommended this violin shop. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The instruments were well maintained. I rented a conservatory level cello and I was very satisfied. I would recommend this shop to my friends and students, and I will definitely come back next time if I need to rent a cello again.

The service is not same as before. The current stuffs I met don’t know violin, cannot even tune the violin. So they just help you to do the transaction paper work and hand in the violin. You won’t be able to compare different violins. Moreover, they just keep asking you to upgrading. They don’t know customer’s needs, only want the quick transaction. Very disappointed!

I just had my cello repaired here, and it was a really positive experience! I have a used cello that needed several small things repaired. The staff (I met with Patrick and Terra) were incredibly knowledgeable and provided a lot of options I could choose from. The luthier who worked on my cello was able to fix it quickly and I get my cello back sooner than expected. And I'm so happy ☺️ it sounds so much better than when I took it in!

It's truly a blessing to have a shop like this near me; I would drive multiple hours to get this kind of service. Patrick has been incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process of buying a cello, and has stayed with me after hours many times now helping me try bows and cellos. The rest of the staff is also amazing. They're always polite and understanding, even when I forgot to return my approval on time! I cannot recommend Patrick's store highly enough.

Hello Alice, Rehairs are $70 for violin & viola, and $75 for cello. Bows have historically been available within a week, but times can take slightly longer because of our current limitations. Unfortunately, we do not carry Baroque bows, but we can rehair them under normal circumstances. We can also special order gut strings from Gamut.

While on rare occasion we will sometimes take instruments on consignment, we generally to not purchase old instruments outright.
