My partner and I tried applying, never heard back from a leasing agent despite many assurances and a $250 "refundable" deposit paid ahead of time. We've since found another place, and have not been able get our deposit back. We've called for weeks now, and every time we reach the central call center we are assured a leasing agent will get back to us to close the application and refund our deposit. We've not been called back once. I advise against dealing with Summit at Sausalito. Dealing with them is highly impersonal and unprofessional. We want our money back. Edit 1/15: Despite the reassurances below, we still haven't received our deposit back. Edit 1/23: STILL no refund of our deposit. Don't believe the empty reassurances of this dishonest business. Seems small claims court is the only way to get your money back.

I tried applying for an apartment with a $250 "refundable" security deposit, but decided to cancel my application back in December. I have since called Summit at Sausalito every week to request my $250 deposit, I speak with a person at a call center, and am told every time that a leasing agent will call me back. I still have not recieved a call from a leasing agent or a refund for my deposit. I advise against anyone dealing with Summit at Sausalito, it has been impersonal and unprofessional. I would like my $250 security deposit back.

I absolutely LOVE living here! I moved into a newly renovated apartment that has all the upgrades. My unit has hardwood floors throughout, natural stone flooring in the bathrooms, and a fabulous modern kitchen! Living here in Sausalito gives me the best of all worlds. I have access to hiking, riding, and dinning and I’m just minutes away from everywhere I need to be in the city! And even though Bay Area rent tends to run steep; living at the Summit I feel like I get more for my money. Like washer and dryer inside my unit, on-site dog washing facility, a complete onsite fitness center and the square footage with the largest closets I’ve see in an apartment. The staff is professional and friendly and has been prompt to respond to my requests. It’s quiet here and I am able relax on my terrace after a long day and just enjoy the views. This is a great place to live!

Poor condition, old, waiting for renovation, I hope! Windows are new but leaking when it rains, pouring down not just moisture. Balcony doors in poor condition and mold on the sides. Old and run down buildings in general and you can hear everything from your neighbors incl. fans and washers&dryers in action like they were in your apartment. Good luck with your deposit. We moved out early Sept and still waiting for our money. They do not reply to emails nor phone calls time after time. Maintenance staff friendly. Equity apartments in general are in poor conditions, since we looked for a new place further south. Made the wise decision of not renting an other one. Money making business only. Location is beautiful but really cold and wet during winter months with severe wind condition. Lots of traffic to trails with dog walkers. Otherwise a perfect place for walks.
