Great stay - agree that many of the sites are out of level. We brought our Anderson leveling system so we were ready. Also had a ramp for our senior dog to get up and down out of the RV since the steps were far off the ground. No issues otherwise.

We spent a week here in space #25. The spaces for the most part are short, and can be difficult backing into with a longer RV, but it is doable, I did it with my 36 foot Montana. It's close to the airport but it wasn't a bother. It's certainly convenient visiting Monterey and Cannery Row.

WARNING. Only open to military and DOD employees. We always appreciate these facilities exist and reasonable prices. There are no inexpensive options near Monterey. Very nice manager and camp host. Note that most sites are back in, most are short, and not a lot of room for parking. No fire rings. Google Map it, it is on the runway of Monterey Regional Airport. Fortunately there are no red eye flights but private planes come and go all night. Large, clean bathroom and free laundry. We will be back next year.

Great location great price. Close to the golf. Has bar and grill on site. Pretty much on the golf course. Only downside is that it's close to an airport and next to the Navy Post Graduate School applied physics lab. They have some facilities that use high speed turbines close by. Very loud. Otherwise, 100% awesome place to stay.

Are dogs allowed?
No tents.
You are limited to 30 days and you must leave for at least 15 days. The rate is based on the daily rate multiplied by length of stay.
No, just bbq pedestals. I did see one site with a small propane fire pit that they didn't give any trouble to
Nah, not free. Pretty good place to stay but the catch is its for active military, retired and dod employees
I don't think so. It's connected to a golf club. I didn't see any signs of tents
Yes. But 100% VA disabled and Department of Defense Civilian employees probably also welcome. Understand that the typical soldier or sailer cannot afford to golf at Pebble Beach and other recreational facilities may not be locally available so there is the Morale Welfare system at all military stations. These cost the taxpayers nothing because they are only funded by user fees and profits from the Post and Bases Exchange. They are for the benefit of the servicemembers and not open to the public.
No there is not. RVs only
Available to active, reserve, retired military and DoD contractors
I believe they do have a monthly rate, but limited as to long you can say.
Want a space for 28 foot moterhome date sept 8 to sept 22
You do realize that you are asking this of the crowd sourced Google maps community, not the park directly?
I think it was like $30 or thereabouts.
We had a time slot on the paperwork i think, just go to the clubhouse
No, the fairgrounds have their own campgrounds.
You need his discharge papers
Can you clarify? Are you asking about disability assistance/access?
NO ! No such thing. THANK GOD. Excuse me , if that were possible there would not be any spaces left for the people who were willing to pay the price with their lives , to protect our country and those around the world. They are saying thanks for your service , backed up with action, not just words. And yes we do pay for the site we use.
I know other military facilities, you just need a military "sponsor" to reserve and take responsibility for your actions, may be the same there, call and ask.
Yes, of course! Veterans with proper ID are very welcomed here! And you receive discounts when you golf. Many local businesses will offer our Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel discounts.
Hi! Yes, you can bring dogs. They need to be on a leash and you have to be with them, can't leave them tied up alone outside. Yes, you can camp in your van. It's $30 per night for full hook-up (water, sewage, wi-fi, electricity). I don't know if there is a discounted rate for zero hook-up vehicles. We will be there on the 23rd. We love it! This will be our 6th visit. Dee
It's a military park.
Only 100% disabled vets may use the park
Carmel Beach is several miles away. Seaside Beach lis about 5 miles.
All the sites have hookups, but only one has 50 amp service. The rest are 30 amp, but the weather is nice, so you may not care. Just bring an adapter cord.
