Three Rivers Resort is under new management as of August 2022 and they are wonderful! We have been going here for thirty-five plus years and it is a wonderful family experience. Over the years they have continued to maintain their facility and make improvements. The A/C in the river cabins has been a wonderful addition. This is not a high end resort but a rustic getaway where you can build many family memories.

I did not stay at Three Rivers Resort, this review is strictly with regards to my experience as a day-use patron of the store and bar. Overall, so much potential for a successful business- beautiful location, fun lookin' raft guide outfit shares the location, fantastic access- but the actual operation is so disappointing. Unfortunately I think they are taking advantage of the fact that they have zero competition and know that because of their location people will continue to roll in even if they do the bare minimum. Based on what I saw of the accommodations (basic and dated) I do not think I would ever stay there. Also after checking out older reviews it seems there have been many complaints about the new (within the last year) management and no attempt from ownership other than replying to bad reviews to improve. My biggest complaint is extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly management. We purchased beverages from the convenience store and consumed them on the porch outside as it was a beautiful spring day. We asked for the wifi password (no cell service in the area) and were told the wifi is for overnight guests only. My understanding is Starlink (their internet provider- fancy!) has amazing speed and capacity- what's the harm in allowing paying customers to use the wifi?? Here's a thought: if you let folks loiter they may stick around and buy more stuff! After sitting down outside, the manager walked by us repeatedly glowering in our direction. We tried to make small talk (what a beautiful place to work!) and in response just got a complaints about living in Lowell. Don't know if it was intentional but we didn't get the impression we were welcome. This is the only convenience/general store for 25 miles- farther if you're headed east. We were camped for a week and really needed to resupply, but after browsing the store decided we needed to go to Kamiah to get groceries. The store is mostly filled with trinkets and random t-shirts, socks, etc. There's very little in the way of provisions- a small rack of chips and snacks and one shelf of canned and dry goods, limited selection of beer and beverages. Given most people stopping in are on a road trip or vacation at the resort or camping, it would be awesome if they had some more provisions (ever been to the Mazama Store in Washington?! Dang!), real coffee, and maybe even work with some locals to provide daily baked goods or snacks. There also used to be a restaurant, but it's not open under the new management. Next time I'm in the area I'll probably bring my business back to Three Rivers, not because I want to but because there really are no other options.

Last July stayed here, the placed changed owners, and now is completely unprofessional. Our cabin had no hot water or heat working. We addressed the concern the next day and they refused to give any kind of refund or let us speak to a manager. When we checked in we were told we got the last cabin so we didn’t bother trying to change it since it was late at night, and the next day we were told that other cabins were available. We booked for one night and told them possibly another when we were checking in. They charged for two nights, we stated we didn’t want to stay again after the poor service and they refused to refund the second unused night. There are a couple managing the cabins for the owner and would play dumb that the owner is not able to reached. They gave us a email to report the issues and we got a basic eff off reply. We have stayed there every year with lots of friends renting half the cabins and will never stay again. Sad

Great spot. The cabins have been around since the 70s but 1 of 2 we stayed in was totally updated and very clean and comfortable. The other needs updates but was still clean and ready. Great launch point for the many adventures nearby. We will definitely back. Management was accommodating and kind, looking forward to full staff and an open cafe to get the full enjoyment!

We're happy to hear you had a great stay!
Our bath house opens in May, so that is when tent camping will be open. We do rent RV spots before then, but you must be fully contained. Please note, all camping/RV is dry.
