We are unable to accept items that are damaged, broken, not working, missing parts, rusted, rotted, or splintered, and we can only take construction materials that are new and in significant quantity. We are also unable to accept radial arm saws, and any tools that are damaged or missing pieces. Thanks for your question! ReStore can accept lumber if it is unused and in significant quantity, and tools that are in good operating condition with all parts. Acceptability is ultimately at the discretion of our San Jose Staff, so it is always good to call ahead at (408) 929-2203. Receipts are available for all donations.

They do get estate items and such and usually have drop offs too. But the best would be to call them. Of course you also said that it is in like new condition, give them a call it's probably that easy.

They do minor repairs, but not sure if they can rewire a chair. They do not deliver.
