What a pleasure and great little surprise. Rooms were big, price was right, clean facilities both inside and out. Responsive staff. Very nice pool area. Walking distance to many restaurants and other stores. Continental breakfast with coffee all day. Loved it!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and light... not dark and gloomy. They were also very clean and neat. The outdoor pool was nice as well. And the Inn is in a great location with plenty of restaurants near and a nearby Walmart and even close to the mall. Loved the breakfast. Bagels with cream cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee.

Clean, Reasonable but dated Motel Stayed in RM 153 Ground floor in back section that is up a hill, must drive between buildings to get there. Staff was efficient, reasonable rate for small motel, room was clean, sizable (2 double beds, small sofa, table, chair & dresser that held nice flat screen TV & mini refrigerator, microwave, mini coffee pot w/ condiments ). No issue with BUGS (yes I do check) clean bedding Bath linens provided, only soap-no shampoos. A/C worked very well Great security cameras Clean pool-though I didn’t use Recommend replace lamps (rust)and refrigerator as refrigerator didn’t cook properly. $100 deposit required at ck in- recommend pay in cash as you will get this back immediately at ck out, once staff looks at room. CC deposit can take approximately 7 days.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 day stay here. Quiet, clean, convenient location, spacious room. For the price it's definitely somewhere I will be booking with again in the future. Just a heads up though instead of simply providing a credit card for incidentals you'll need to provide a $100 deposit. Do cash if you can so you get it back immediately upon checkout.

Yes they do! Outdoor pool
Yes. And a little gazebo type place by the pool to relax in the shade
I don't know exactly where downtown is. When I called to make a reservation I specifically mentioned where I would be attending an event and asked was it close by. I specifically said I did not want to drive 15 or 20 minutes at midnight after driving all day to get to Asheville. They assured me it was nearby. I got to the hotel and discovered my event was indeed 15 or 20 minutes away. I ended up staying at the Mountaineer anyway, but... I still wasn't excited about driving that far at midnight after a long day's drive to get to Asheville. And I got turned around in my directions at midnight and it did take the full 20 minutes to get back to the Motel, LOL.
