The entire staff is amazing! Coco at the front desk always is so helpful and I’m grateful for the amount of care and effort she puts into booking. Every single doctor that I’ve ever gone to there has been professional, and I’ve left happy every single time. Please trust this team with all of your needs!

Claire is the most amazing aesthetician EVER! She had changed my skin completely over the past 6 months and is SO great at what she does! How long does Juvederm last? Are there different types of filler for different areas of the face?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

Juvederm has filler types for all different areas of the face (lips, cheek bones, temples, etc.) and each filler is FDA approved for a different longevity. For example, Juvederm Voluma is typically injected in your cheek bones and can last up to two years before being completely metabolized- Juvederm Volbella can be injected in your lips and is FDA approved to last up to 12 months.

Will I look frozen or not look like myself after a Botox treatment?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

No! Botox is a very customizable treatment to every patient's wants and needs. The product itself is considered a muscle relaxer and will not freeze your whole face. Each provider we have here in our office, is happy to discuss your goals prior to injections.

What is my downtime after a Botox treatment?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

Botox is a pretty non invasive treatment and does not require ample amount of downtown. We suggest no saunas or hot tubs for 24 hours post treatment and no laying completely flat for the first four hours after. Strenuous activities should be avoided until the following day

Would I be bruised and swollen after a filler appointment?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

There is always potential for swelling and bruising post injection treatment. Every patient varies, so it is hard to give an exact answer. We do offer an injection serum from Alastin skincare that is loaded with arnica, peptides and silver mushroom extract, which helps reduce potential bruising and swelling. In addition we send you home with ice packs and are able to bring you in for a complimentary bruise zap treatment with our laser to break up the bruise and have it subside quicker. If you have an event or something special to attend, we suggest coming in two weeks prior to that, to air on the side of caution.

How much does CoolSculpting cost?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

We offer several different CoolSculpting packages here at our office, that are very customizable to each patient's goals. The number of applicators' and treatments definitely vary case to case, which is why we have different options to chose from. Prior to your CoolSculpting treatment, you will need to come in for a complimentary consultation with one of our CoolSculpting Technicians, for evaluation to make sure the patient is a proper candidate. From there, you guys will create a treatment plan and go over pricing options.

Does CoolSculpting hurt? What would my downtime be?

Guest Guest | Jul 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

CoolSculpting is a treatment that is tolerated differently by patients. Essentially, once the treatment area is drawn up into the applicator, the CoolSculpting machine delivers cold air at a precisely controlled and consistent temperature, specifically between 39 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. This cooling does not actually freeze the fat cells but instead chills them, until they are damaged beyond repair. During this phase when the area being treated is cooling, you can experience cramping and tingling that eventually goes numb, usually within ten minutes or less.

What should I expect during my Botox treatment?

Artemedica | Jun 2, 2022
Artemedica | Jul 2, 2022

During your Botox treatment, the provider you are seeing will make sure your skin is sanitized prior to injection. They will review your goals and go over the dosage and pricing with you before they begin treatment so the both of you are on the same page. The injection itself is compared to a small pinch/bee sting, but is very quick and subsides almost immediately after. You can potentially leave here red in the areas that were treated but that as well fades quickly.
