We went for a missing screw and they completely scratched one of the lenses. The woman that attended us was wearing large nails and wasn’t even able to hold the screw between her fingers. Will never get back there. Avoid it at all cost!

This review is for the optometrist office located in the Costco; I am not reviewing the Costco vision center where eye glasses are sold. The new optometrist at this Costco location (Ms. Hanh Tran O.D.) does not accept any insurance and they may not tell the patient in time. My wife and I visited this location for an eye exam. We had made an appointment 2 weeks before and in person when we mentioned our vision insurance provider. On the appointment day, after the service was provided, we learned that the office does not accept an insurance policies. There is no sign in the office to inform patients about that. Also, they failed to tell us when we were making the appointment as we did we mention our insurance. I told them I would not have done my eye exam if I knew this, simply because I do not want to deal with the insurance company. They said they see a lot of patients with the same insurance provider as mine and they have "no problem" getting their money back from the insurance company. I filed a claim with my insurance, if it works out, I may reconsider my review.

Very rude staff (Dennis and Garth) not willing to help and being ironic as we tried to get my prescription glasses fixed. Sometimes the most economical option does not justify a bad customer experience. I'd continue to shop at Costco for groceries but was my first and last experience at their Vision Center.

The independent optometrist and the staff were so nice and helpful! I was late for my appointment, but they saw me anyway. The doctor was really friendly and engaging. He gave me info I hadn't known throughout the appointment and answered all my questions 😊
