The food is well prepared. A friend of mine (who lives in the area) invited me to the Z Cafe. He recommended the beef stroganoff, but I've been more into a more vegan style. So, I ordered the tuna melt with a salad side. It was scrumptious, delicious, and mouth watering! If the other selections on the menu are comparable then you cannot go wrong with dining here. There are large screen monitors placed in spots with the cafe that also added to the ambience. My partner enjoys the sweet iced tea. Can't say enough about that delicious stuff. I would rate this place to be in the same class as Spats in Berkeley (minus the Fog Cutters). I almost forgot to compliment the staff. The were very nice and efficient. I was actually amazed at our waiter as I was seated on a position where I could not help but to observe all of the tables he was keeping happy.
