I've been coming here since the late 60's. The quality and portions of the desserts have always been generous and plentiful. The service is a little lacking and the prices have reached a point where it's just not worth the nostalgic reason for going anymore

The waiter was nice and provided good service even though he was busy. But it’s way too expensive, so skipped dessert unfortunately. I won’t go back because of the cost.

It's an Ice cream parlor Joan. I don't think those items will mail with much success.
It could be; parking is scarce on Piedmont. You might just want to park at the public lot next to CVS. It isn't too expensive and it's a short walk to Fenton's.
I've never tried and never seen anybody make reservations, except for large groups which they put in the back room. I've only been aware of it being a live line where you have to check in and get in queue.

Yes you can order sundaes to go. You have to wait in the "to go" line, but you don't have to wait for a table.
