The cabin was nice. I expected to be able to have a campfire or be able to cook food remotely close to the cabin but that was not the case. I would recommend checking the lake water levels, whether the marina is in use, and the location of your cabin relative to the water before booking again.

Despite other reviews found our room to be much better than expected. The view and atmosphere just can not be duplicated. A very awesome family adventure. Only negative was trying to get the billing of multiple rooms squared away with desk staff. Visited them 4 different days and even after checking out in the morning found billing to be incorrect.

Walking up the lobby staircase and seeing the view of the Grand Tetons was magnificent. Seeing that view every day that we were there never got tired. A portion of the lodge is going through a historical preservation phase and there no disruption to guests. There are two restaurants, a grill and a sit down as well as a lounge that also serves food. You can book horseback rides, animal viewing tours and rafting tours in the lobby. There is a pool. Just an FYI the rooms here do not have TV's, so hopefully that's not a deal breaker.

5/21/2022: Amenities are great! Love the coffee bar upstairs - coffee & breakfast snacks in the morning and salads for lunch. Pioneer grill has great breakfast choices. The Blue Heron lounge is very pretty and great to relax with a beverage and snack. Reception was very helpful and a quick check in. Activities director very knowledgeable. There is construction going on so no views from inside but a stairway to outside viewing is available. We stayed in a cottage with a patio-loved it and highly advise. Short hiking around the lodge provides views. 6,700 ft above sea level so it was a bit chilly but was sunny. Use Open Table to make dinner reservations at the Mural room. Wonderful food and service. Loved the gift and sport clothing stores. Gas station on the premises. Keep in mind everything will be more expensive, but the service and quality of everything is worth it (supports sustainable farms and greenhouses etc.) We’ll definitely be back.
