You know, for a place that’s supposed to be about spirituality and love this place really sucks at providing it. I have noticed it a few times where I bring my friends who are POC and the employees constantly follow them around and always keep an eye on them. There was an instance where I went into the more expensive part of the store full of the singing bowls and no one watched me, but as soon as one of my POC friends followed me in they sent in somebody to watch us (I literally saw the manager tell someone to watch us, I’m not just inferring). And I know I’m not making this up because I was talking with one of my friends about this shop being racist and I didn’t say the name of it and she told me how she also experienced racism herself at a crystal shop. Guess what? We were talking about the same shop. Universal Connections. It’s sad because it is a good shop with lots of selections but they are so closed minded.

I want to love this place, but I and others have had the same experience: people who hound you as if you're going to steal things. I'm pretty desperate in general, but I'm not trying to fudge up my astral juju by stealing crystals, bro. Just let me shop.

What an amazing place! I don't know why I didn't know about this shop pre-pandemic. I would love to spend hours there. There is a 15 min in store limit during peak hours. I'll definitely be going again during the week when it's not as busy. I think I only stood in line for 15 min waiting to get in with about 4 people in front of me, and it was worth it! The shop is light and bright and absolutely beautiful. Their crystal collection is very breathtaking, and I'm amazed at how many goodies are packed into this place. The employees are kind and helpful and overall I'm so glad I went, even only having 15 min to shop. I found a tarot deck that is currently out of print and hard to find, so I'm very happy!
