Relatively easy hike 1.5 mi round trip. Follow the posts (or follow the crowd). There are a couple of slick areas (loose gravel on hills). We went when it was 65 degrees so it was bearable.

This is a fantastic trail and sight to see. Ranging 1 1/2 miles out and back, the end of spectacle is a mixture of red white yellow rocks. Combine that with a celestial blue sky and it’s exactly what the heavens here to be! Trail head is well-defined. Parking is very limited. Not RV friendly, but we managed to squeeze ours in. No bathrooms at trail head. End of trail is well defined and marked. There are markers for the trail about every 50 yards so you don’t get lost.

Easy hike, probably about 1.5 to 2 miles round trip. Stunning feature. Would highly recommend.

Easy hike, would recommend bringing 2 bottles of water per person and wearing a face cover as we experienced 30 mph wind gusts and got sand in our mouths and noses.

Now , due to light pollution, it is best to be at high altitude. Mt passes , 6000 ft above sea level or higher are really good. It just depends on where you live.
What a question, lol. It's got a scenic drive of National Park proportion. Simply jaw dropping!
The whole park is pretty amazing, really... the beehives are climbable though
Yes, I think even better because the sun is at a lower angle in the sky and creates great lighting on the rock formations
Yes, plenty of picnic areas with bbq and they are covered with restrooms.too.
Yes. They have a specific area for RV's where you can hook up to water and electricity, but it's more expensive. If you have a trailer and are fine with just a spot it's a $10 camping fee.
