Great place to get out and stretch. Kids can run around. You can get good pictures. It will be crowded and you might have to wait to get your picture, but definitely worth it. They have a food truck near the entrance. You will walk about 100 yards from the parking lot to the rocks just FYI. Might miss interstate traffic going this way as well. Win win. Have fun and enjoy. Spent about 30-45 minutes here! Loved the way my pictures turned out!π€©

An interesting photo op... Except... The first time I stopped was at the perfect time. Sunset. Lighting was fabulous and I was able to position myself for minimum or no people in my shot. Also, the moon, low in the November sky was perfectly positioned for the show. The next time, it was summer. Busy on the road and at the site. As I approached in the car, the light was flat. Although it was late in the day it wasn't quite the golden hour. I started the short walk from the dirt lot and saw the lower portion of the exhibit had been graffiti damaged in black paint. I snapped the obligatory one shot and turned back. Shame. This is why we can't have nice things.

If your visit in Vegas this is definitely a cool free spot to check out itβs only 25 Minutes from the strip and a very short hike. Itβs a great Insta stop and you will not be here to long. Also thereβs a food truck with cold beverages food and a bathroom.

This place is magical. Granted I came in December and enjoyed the cold over hot. There is access to explore a stretch of desert without being far from civilization. It's open desert and so many areas to take photos. The structures are vibrant colors, and stacked really high, a sight to see. The location is right before you hit Vegas or as you leave, it's approximately 20 minutes to and fro, but freeway access is conveniently located. Driving there is fun, gives the sense your driving in a lonely open desert. There is ample parking although it was packed. There is a vendor selling food, drinks, and has port a potty available. Many many tourists here. Definitely make this a stop when in Vegas, you'll have amazing photos π

Thanks for your information
Not a question but I completely agree
Some say they were stacked by the same aliens that stacked Stonehenge in UK (you can find these aliens parked in Baker at the jerky store), I've also heard that prehistoric Egyptians used to colonize the area and stacked it before moving to Luxor, but it was actually made a leprechaun so he can store his pot of gold safely buried underneath it. Hope this helps
Still there. Will still be there when you go.
Theyβre extending the time through the end of 2018
