Cindy and I had a late morning breakfast at TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT on Saturday, 14 April 2018. Also, we met and shared our mealtime with our friend, Cricket, who lives in Searchlight. The restaurant is located in the small town of Searchlight, Nevada about an hour from Las Vegas. TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT is located right on the main street with easy access into spacious, level parking lots, even for big rigs. Entry into the restaurant goes through part of the casino which, unfortunately, is very smoky and I don’t like that at all. There are booths and tables available. We chose a booth that was located further from the casino part. I ordered the Corned beef hash with breakfast potatoes and rye toast. We had coffee with lots of cream. The Corned beef hash was tasty and the potatoes were good. And, the coffee was delicious. Our cups got topped off a couple of times. However, I didn’t like the rye toast as it appeared to be more a marbled kind of toast rather than the kind of rye toast I like. Nonetheless, Cricket enjoyed my toast as she used it to dunk into her coffee. Cindy and Cricket enjoyed their meals. We all thought that the portions and prices were reasonable. And, the presentation of the food was good. We were glad that the restaurant has an A grade from the Clark County Health Department. Our waitress was polite, prompt and helpful. We will definitely eat at TERRIBLE’S ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT again in the future.
