i had a wonderful time! the onwer (only one was there at the time) was so nice and our tour guide bruce had an amazing sense of humor and made the heat worth it! we tipped him very well

This place was really awesome! Everything from the tour through the mine to the antique cars, buildings, movie props, etc was really interesting to experience. Great photo opportunities. I'm sure I will be visiting again.

I don't recommend taking pets. There are "jumping cacti" that can static cling to people/animals within a foot. There is no reason to bring your dog!
Not necessary. We showed up with 6 people. He just asked to wait to the top of the hour. We just took a break, bought a few sodas. The guy was informative and had a great sense of humor.
Check with the general store. It's all privately owned land. You most likely won't be able to.
Es you can go walk around, but they like for you to check in first to explain some safety precautions. So fun inside the main store where you check in, so definitely go in!
I took a ton of pictures, didn't pay a dime extra. Now they will take pictures throughout the day and post em on a website for you to buy.
Yes, it's really great, ground is kinda rough though if you have mobility issues
Pack a lunch. There are plenty of places to picnic.
