Small town limited options. Mostly average diner fare. From freezer to fryer. But kitchen is tiny! Coleslaw was premixed cabbage just dumped out of a bag dry. Fried chicken was good. Creamy wild rice soup was watery lacking flavor and content. Service was pretty quick and she was very friendly. But I would try another place next time I visit.

The food was a super good the service was fantastic. What's really nice is that they have huge portions but for the person who has a smaller appetite you can get smaller portions upon request

I have heard about Papa Bears, but didn't realize it was so close. So, we decided to check it out. Holey!...Moley! What a wide menu to choose from. It's nice to know that I finally found a place that delivers old home town cooking, at very reasonable rates. I tried the Chicken Fried steak and my wife tried the Cobb salad. The Chicken Fried Steak was full old school, the way it SHOULD be made. Enjoyed every bite and it was the medium size order. More than ample. The Cobb salad was a half order and my wife ended up taking a lot of it home, as there was such a mass quantity. Overall, I am glad I finally learned there is a good ole home town restaurant in the local area and I will definitely be returning to try out all the other menu items they have. I was so blooming full that I didn't even have a chance to try out all the pies they have in the pie display. Will definitely order smaller next time so I can partake of the pies, this next time. This place definitely worth going for great people, great food and great home town atmosphere.

We were a party of 5; just walked in and was seated immediately. They were just changing over from breakfast to lunch menu. Got some coffee and looked over the menu. It was hard to choose from. I got the 3 little pigs on texas toast and french fries! Oh what a treat! it was wonderful! I kept eyeing my husbands plate of hamburger steak with brown gravy, onions and mushrooms. I also wanted a bite of my friends Reuben sandwich, which she wouldn't share! I was surprised with the quality of food and the service was great as well! I got back to work and told all my friends that they needed to check this place out! Thank you for a great meal!
