The location and the staff are friendly. However, if you expect your HVAC to get done right away, its not going to happen. It took a month for mine to get fixed with almost no communication. The complex is also consistently under construction or has beautification projects that are poorly planned. One of the planned projects made it so half the residents couldn't access their vehicles and closed off nearly half of the extra parking spaces? Use street parking they said. When the nearest public parking spot requires you to walk all around the complex. How does that make sense?

I’ve been a resident for about 1 year here and I love how safe this neighborhood feels! The maintenance staff take care of any issues promptly and well. The management truly cares. It’s just an amazing community to be a part of. The only issue is that you can hear the footsteps of the neighbors above you, but I’m realizing that’s just how apartment living is. Everything around here is taken care of and clean.

Overall a good community to live in. Really close to the Bart station, safeway and drug stores. Has a good number of visitor parking in the community and we never had issues finding parking for our guests. One issue I have is the absence of a business center with a printer. They used to have one pre covid but it seems they have removed the amenity entirely. It would be great to have a place to print documents which is a common feature which apartment complexes have in the bay area

Verandas Apartments is a great apartment/community in the Union City/Fremont area. I have enjoyed living here. Its a gated community and very clean and quite. Great Location: there is Safeway, Drug Store, Chinese grocery store and great restaurants within walking distance. Bart station is right across the street. Special thanks to Francine, the community manager. She is very friendly, responsive and professional. She showed that her and the management team really care for the residents here and try to make it a great community for everyone. The maintenance team is also great, they respond to requests through the online residence portal in a timely manner.
