I’ve been a customer of 24hour fitness for nearly 10years, and frequent many locations around the peninsula and San Francisco. I’m not someone that’s driven by negativity but my most recent work out experiences at the millbrae location has led me to write this review. This location used to be decent at some point with managers and staff that actually cared, but within the past year and a half this location has gone from bad to worst. The current staff they’ve chosen to hire is rude and unprofessional, their customer service skills are nonexistent. They fail to greet me at arrival and mug me upon leaving. Staff constantly distracted on their phones or too busy holding conversations with their colleagues. I can’t enjoy a work out without frequently being reminded to leave. While some members/ staff’s friends get to stay past closing hours. The bathrooms are filthy and unsanitary there is mildew on the floors and the steam room’s smell is unbearable.

Not well maintained. Many members dont rerack weights. Generally there is garbage all over the floor. Also very busy usually.

Lean Muscle

They're trying their best to deal with the virus. The weight area is still crowded at 5-6 pm on weekdays. Unlike when I was in West Hollywood last week, a few people don't wear mask or wipe down their machines. The cardio machines are virtually empty cuz I guess most people don't want to wear a mask while doing cardio.
